Law and Order: SVU is on at its normal time and even seems to be a new
episode, though in December I consider a rerun typical and a new episode to
be good luck (as opposed to a new episode typical and a rerun bad luck as
in some other months) ... but ...

where the hell is CSI? It seems to be *completely missing*. If there's no
new episode this week (likely) there should still be a CSI in CSI's time
slot. Preferably one of the episodes I missed earlier in the year.

What, you don't care who's nominated for the Grammy Awards?

That's right. It's not enough to preempt shows for award ceremonies, now
they preempt them for the nominations! To be fair, they're including
musical performances on the show, so it's probably more like a variety
special with nominations interspersed.
